Separate Home Theaters in Basement
and First Floor Den

This home-owner is a classical musician and has been involved with the recording industry for more than thirty years. Therefore, acoustics, equalization, and quality of sound performance were of utmost importance to him as we installed a dedicated home theater in his basement and a smaller home theater/distributed audio system in his first-floor den.

The den system consists of a wall-mounted Philips 42" Plasma Television monitor, Marantz SR-19 EX THX A-V Receiver, Marantz five-disc CD Changer, Toshiba Progressive Scan DVD Player,  PSB and Mirage speakers, and Sunfire True Subwoofer Junior.  We installed this gear into a wood and metal a/v table by Bell'o.  We installed in-wall speakers by PSB in the Dining Room and Kitchen, and Legacy Bookshelf Speakers on Bell'o stands in the Great Room.

Downstairs, the dedicated home theater consists of a combination of equipment that the customer already owned plus a scattering of gear that we were able to provide:  Philips 65" HD-Integrated Rear Projection Television, Lexicon Pre-Amp/Processor, Audio Control DIVA/Iasys Digital Equalizer and Analyzer, and amps and speakers by Legacy Audio.
